Our Policy
MAX ROC is all about fun and adventure.
Your safety, and upholding our outstanding safety record
is our highest priority above all else.
*However this is a business and I do have a strong unwavering policy !
* All students and tandem passengers must be 18 or older.
* Paragliding is weather dependent so you must be flexible on scheduling within reason.
* We have a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy anyone under the influcence
during flight lesson operations will be ask to leave the site immediately and forfeit they're entire tuition.
* All solo lessons must be prepaid in advance.
All prices paid for solo lessons are absolutely positively non refundable for any reason
what so ever.
NOTE : Why All solo paragliding lessons are non refundable.
You are purchasing a block of my time and all others are deferred out to keep the class size small for you. Upon your purchase of your lesson it is auto deducted to cover the schools operational cost.
You the student have 60 calendar days from first lesson day to complete the lessons in full or a daily rate of $250.00 a day will be charged to continue the paragliding program.
* Paragliding requires a certain level of maturity so its extremely important you are completely honest with not only us but yourself as well.
In the rare and heartbreaking case we find you are physically or mentally unsuited
for paragliding we will not continue classes with you.
This is not just for your safety but the safety of all those that would be in the sky with you and you will not be refunded any part of your tution.
* Know that upon signing the USHPA membership and and our school waiver you are
signing away your legal rights and the acceptance of having anyone sue anyone or anything however related on your behalf in the event of personal loss, injury and or death.
There is no funds availible or insurance covering you for any medical injury or compensation occuring at any point during or after your lessons this includes rides to and from launch and property owners etc... and so on.
You further more understand and agree that you are responsible for yourself 100%
and you are being given this oppertunity to participate in paragliding with us at your own risk, and you assume all those risk know and unknow.
* Key points of expectations for solo paragliding lessons :
1.) You must be willing and able to hike up a 75ft sand dune 6 times a day with full gear weighing 28lbs for up to 2 days.
2.) You understand that the bulk of the lessons will be in Tillamook County Oregon and the far east end of the Columbia River Gorge in Washington south of Goldendale.
3.) I apologize if this seems harsh, but we do not take any of this lightly.
